Real Bride Spotlight: Jasmine

This month we are shining a Spotlight on our gorgeous Vicki’s Bride Jasmine. Now where do we start… Jasmine was our little ray of sunshine from the moment she stepped foot through the door. She embraced her bridal era to the max documenting every part of her journey (we are waiting patiently to see the scrap book! Nudge nudge wink wink!!) and just enjoying it stress free. So we can’t wait for her to share her journey with you…

So let's start with where your bridal journey began. How did your partner propose?

Elliott proposed on a private boat in Kefalonia in front of the beautiful backdrop of White Rocks Beach!

Oh that looks stunning, so tell us when and where did you get married?

We got married on Saturday 8th June at Ripple Court Estate between Deal and Dover!

Beautiful, What colour/ theme did you go for?

Our colour scheme was summery with a feature colour of lemon yellow mixed with eucalyptus green, peach, white and gold which fitted our ‘Gardens/Floral’ theme perfectly!

Stunning, we loved the lemon Multiway bridesmaid dresses from Jacquline Louise. Tell us one bit of advice for couples planning a wedding?

Always start planning/sourcing/booking things WAY before you think you should! The sooner it’s done the better! That way in those last few days before the wedding you can relax without having loads to do.

Honestly best advice, could not agree more and you were proof of that, never any stress even 4 weeks before. Now the exciting bit … Shopping for your dress... Tell us about it?!

My dress was actually the first dress I tried on! Prior to the appointment, I went on the Vicki’s Bridal Boutique website and chose my favourite dresses - my dress was not one of them! As soon as I saw Matilda in person, I instantly fell in love. When Hannah asked which dress I wanted to try first, I knew straight away! It wasn’t just about the way the dress looked, it was the way it made me feel that helped me know it was the one. The tears were flowing and I knew I had to walk down the aisle in that dress!

It was definitely when ‘you know you know moment!’ Highlight from your Big Day.

Our ceremony in the walled Rose Garden was the absolute stand out moment for me. Seeing Elliott at the end of the aisle and walking towards him knowing we’re getting married is a feeling I’ll never forget. We were surrounded by our families and friends and you could just feel the love. Our ceremony and time of worship was lead by members of our Church family and I’ll never forget that overwhelming feeling of joy being in that moment with everyone we love most.

Thank you so much for sharing your wedding journey with us, we loved being part of it. So last but not least,  we have loved all your photos but what was your favourite moment captured on camera by photographer or guested from your big day ?

Love it! Just pure enjoy on they faces. Jasmine I'm sure you all agree looked stunning on her Big Day. She wore the beautiful Matilda by Nieve Couture, accessorised with the gorgeous Floral Lace Edge Veil by Nieve Couture and the delicate Brooklyn hair vine from The Bobby Pin. All tipped off with the Georgia Heel from The Perfect Bridal Company, which she kicked off and swapped for the Carmon sneaker for the evening. The was talented Nikki and Tracey from The Wedding Dress Surgeons worked with Jasmine to make her dress perfect. Jasmine bridal squad also rocked the Jacquline Louise Multiway Bridesmaid dresses.

We wish Jasmine and Elliot many happy years making memories together as husband and wife.
