This month is the turn of Vicki's Bride Real Bride Spotlight is Tequilla to share with us all about her big day. Tequilla was the 4th in a group of four amazing friends that we had the pleasure of helping them find their perfect dress.
How did your partner propose?
In Brighton, on the beach during Covid, back when we were allowed to socialise again.
When and Where did you get married?
25th May 2024, at The Secret Garden in Ashford. Which is where we had afternoon tea for our first Valentine's Day together, so to get married there and have afternoon tea was so special
What colour/ theme did you go for?
We didn't really have a set theme, natural rustic vibes, lots of white, green, baby blue bridesmaids and gold tints around the wedding day, Our table names were places we have travelled together which was really lovely touch, rather than numbers. I didn't want to be restricted to a set colour, I wanted it all to blend really nicely.
One bit of advice for couples planning a wedding?
Plan the day you both want, not what other people want or expect. We took a few 'traditional' things away as it wasn't something we felt was really needed. Spend the money on the photographer and videographer, because after your big day that is what you have to look back on, they need to be amazing!
Spend time planning a lovely morning with your bridal party, you need the calm and fun morning to help start your day off correctly! And worry about the money later :)
Shopping for your dress... Tell us about it?!
Was such a wonderful day, my mum, maid of honour and 2-year-old at the time - Lovely girl's day. I looked online first and had a list of dresses I wanted to try on and when it came to actually wearing them I knew they were beautiful but were not for me. My maid of honour picked a dress out for me to try on, and I said 'I'm not sure, it's not me' and it ended up being the dress I chose. The girls were so welcoming and helpful and really spent the time helping me pick and narrow down, I think you stress so much to find the one that you worry you won't find it, but if you relax and enjoy the moment it will find you.
Love this, the people close to us see in a way we don't, so sometimes they know before we do!! Highlight from your Big Day.
EVERYTHING, honestly the weather was gorgeous and just seeing everyone we love together having a good time. It was a very special day for so many reasons, It was the anniversary of our little Mabel's passing, so the sun was shining extra bright.

I love every photo, especially the candid photos of people smiling and having fun and seeing some epic moves on the dance floor, but all the photos of myself, my husband and our little girl Darcie are just everything to treasure forever.
Tequilla wore Storm by Kelsey Rose, accessorised with Mabel Pins by The Bobby Pin, Carrie heels from The Perfect Bridal Company and finished off with the Cathedral length Scatter Pearl Veil by Nieve Couture.
