This year at Vicki’s Bridal Boutique, we have had so many stunning British bridal gowns that have had their ‘yes’ moment, but there is one in particular that has crowned our dress of 2024. We have just loved seeing our brides fall in love with and then walk down the aisle in…

We just love that she is a wedding dress that a bride never knew they needed for their big day. With her beautiful Freda Bennet bespoke Cloque fabric, flattering square neckline and thick waist band. And of course not to forget her pockets!! Milan perfectly marries classic and playful, the ultimate combination for a bride looking to have a fun filled day.

This gorgeous bridal gown displays the best of British Bridal design. And here at Vicki's Bridal Boutique, we are just obsessed with Milan. Here are some of our beautiful Vicki’s Bride that said

‘I Do’ in Milan by Freda Bennet and I'm sure you can agree they all look stunning. If Milan has captured you in the same as well. Then head to www.vickisbride.co.uk to book in.

Bride and groom kissing in the snow

It is our favourite time of year here at Vicki’s Bridal Boutique, Tenterden… Christmas!!! And we have been so excited to decorate the new boutique ready for Christmas, so as we are in the spirit of the coming season, we thought we would share our favourite Christmas wedding trends.

The Black Tie Event:

Christmas is always an excuse to get dressed up, and what better Christmas event than a wedding. We love it when the bride and groom, do a full black tie event for their guests and allow them to embrace that inner red carpet diva.

Forest Green and Ivory Colour scheme:

There is something just so beautiful about this colour scheme. The perfect way to give a nod to Christmas without being too obvious. And not to mention the perfect blank canvas for any Christmas decorations

that your venue may already have up.

Christmas Sparkle:

Now if you can’t wear sparkle at Christmas, when can you. And this year we have had some stunning bridal gowns that just embodied subtle sparkle. The perfect way to sparkle all the way through your winter wedding.

Embracing Christmas:

Say yes to all the Christmas decorations your venue has to offer and embrace all things Christmas. It’s the most magical time of year and perfect backdrop for celebrating two families coming together. And a bonus the venue is already decorated so one thing to tick off the to-do list.

2024 has allowed us to see the most beautiful brides say 'I Do' in the best of British Bridal. So to round off the year we wanted to share with you just a handful of our gorgeous #vickisbrides who entered their wife era this year.

Jenni Rawlinson wore the beautiful Eloise by Ellis Bridals which she purchased off the rack due to short timescale. She also put her own stamp on her by taking up the sleeve to create a pretty puff sleeve.

Gemma Parrott got married in a venue close to our hearts, and we just had so much fun in our appointment with her and her mum. She said yes in the gorgeous Iris by Kelsey Rose with the Mocha undertone and flutter sleeve. Team up perfectly with a paid of converse.

Laura Jane Hatter took full advantage of our designer trunk show, and found her dress by the very talented British designer Sophie Rose Bridal, teaming her Lupin dress with bespoke veil by Tulle & Flo.

Tequilla Rich stunned in Storm by Kelsey Rose, at her wedding at the Secret Garden, which she teamed with a scatter pearl veil by Nieve Couture and delicate ceramic hair pins by The Bobby Pin.

Hayley Fletcher wore a Kelsey Rose two piece, teaming together the Oriela Top with the Louise Skirt, which she had taken up into a high-low during alteration. Hayley also used her Mums wedding jacket to create a beautiful bespoke double-comb Tulle & Flo veil, as a perfect way to have a piece of her memory with her on her special day.

Emily Pullinger was one of our first bride to get the full Vicki's collection, buying her stunning Eden by Ellis Bridals and then dressing her bride tribe in our Jacqueline Louise multiway dresses. Emily was a classic walk in for one thing and walk out with another. It really was a love at first sight scenario.

Jess Grey came into to us with one dress in her sights. After doing a bit of shopping, she thought what she wanted just didn't exist until she stumbled across Mauve by Ellis Bridal on our Instagram @vickisbride. And it was love as soon as she tried her on and doesn't she look stunning.

Daisy Pickerill, it was love at first sight! She walked in and instantly spotted Milan by Freda Bennet. And as soon as she put her on she lived up to expectation, we played the game but came right back round to Milian, the first dress she tried.

Jasmine Rouse was a top to toe #vickisbride, as well as her bridesmaid in lemon Jacqueline Louise Multiway dresses. Jasmine embraced her bridal era, turning up every appointment in her 'bride' jumper and camera ready to document every moment. She looked incredible in Matilda by Nieve Couture.

Abigail Douglas is the perfect example of using your bridal gown as your blank canvas to create your bridal vision. The sleeves on Romily by Freda Bennet weren't a 100% right for her, so working with our seamstresses, she created the most beautiful long drape sleeves.

Amy Barfoot wore Elle by Ellis Bridals a beautiful strapless stain gown with 3D flower detail. She then ordered extra applique to create a matching veil.

Maddie Thorne was our first Kate Fearnley bride, again taking advantage of our made in the UK designer trunk shows in the summer of 2023. And we just think she looks stunning in Spirit with those amazing statement sleeves.

This is just a handful of our gorgeous #vickisbride from 2024, and I'm sure you can agree that they all look beautiful, and we can't wait to share with you more of our gorgeous brides.
