Let’s talk Summer bridal looks. As our summers start to heat up, we want to run down our Top 10 picks for Summer Wedding Dresses from our collection of gorgeous bridal gowns across all our designers, Kelsey Rose, Ellis Bridals, Nieve Couture and Freda Bennet. So here goes …

  • Noah by Kelsey Rose - Is a soft dotty tulle romantic wedding dress, with gorgeous appliquéing detail on the bodice. Her detachable bows on her shoulders mean you can take your bridal look from day to tonight with a simple pop of a popper. And not to forget the cheeky split on the leg.

  • Elle by Ellis Bridals - This gorgeous strapless A-line satin gown is perfect for those summer wedding days. Decorated with 3D flowers which descend from the bodice into the top of the skirt. She also hasn't got 100 layers of net and lining, meaning she is a nice lightweight A-line.

  • Brady by Freda Bennet - Daisy is the word, I don’t know what says summer more than a bit of flower power. Brady screams fun with her lightness and statement puff sleeves. She has a gorgeous fitted stain dress as a base, with a layer of stunning organza to create a soft A-line skirt.

  • Danielle by Nieve Couture - This ultra fun and flirty dress, with her exposed bodice and tulle skirt, is perfect for any summer wedding. With her gorgeous floral appliquéing on the bodice and continuing onto the skirt.

  • Juno by Kelsey Rose - A gorgeous mix of crêpe bodice with stunning puff sleeve and ‘falling rose’ lace skirt. Her low squared off back adds a little bit of sexy, perfect to show off that summer kissed tan.

  • Cary by Freda Bennet - Though a satin jacquard material she is one lined layer, with a split in the skirt, she is a super lightweight wedding dress for a style that is traditionally quite heavy. We are so in love with the rose print fabric, creating a unique mix of clean cut and ultra feminine look.

  • Matilda by Nieve Couture - If you are looking for that big A-line Matilda is a great option, with all her gorgeous layers of orgazana offer all the volume without the weight. She has a stunning floral bodice, perfect to compliment any summer flower bouquet.

  • Mauve by Ellis Bridals - A slinky summer bridal look in a lightweight makrdo with a stunning cutout train. With a stunning elusion back and sleeves, but don’t worry these sleeves aren’t going to keep you warm.

  • Carmen by Nieve Couture - This is a classic example of there is beauty found in simplicity. Carmen is a gorgeous chiffon fit and flare wedding gown with a strapless bodice with a gorgeous claw neck and lace up back.

  • Sicily by Kelsey Rose - This beautiful summer Boho dress with all her gorgeous floral lace flutter sleeve and embroidery bodice. Teamed with a soft chiffon skirt, falling from an empire line, for a gorgeous soft summer Boho bridal look.

July has been a busy month at Vicki’s Bridal Boutique, so lets do a July recap...

Disco theme wedding shoot at country barn and lake

We have welcomed some gorgeous brides to Vicki’s family, the boutique has just been full of love and for all our gorgeous dresses and can’t to see them all again in the autumn for collections. Here are just a few of our gorgeous Vicki's Brides ...

At the start of the month, we received our Muddy Awards alongside follow Tenterden winner Raffman and Huckster. We attended the awards evening at the gorgeous Yotes Court Vineyard, in West Peckhem for celebratory drinks and canapés for all the amazing small businesses that won this year's Muddy Stilettos Awards.

We also had the pleasure of hosting our first Trunk Show, with the stunning full collection from Sophie Rose Bridal. We absolutely love Sophie’s designs and her brand ethos, with all her wedding dresses handmade in her studio in Hampshire with UK sourced and widely recycled fabrics. Not only that, but we were also so excited to have our first Sophie Rose Bride. The future certainly looks bright for Vicki’s Bridal Boutique and Sophie Rose Bridal, so watch this space.

But not only has the boutique been busy with new Vicki’s brides joining the family but we have also had some lovely collections for our brides getting married at the end of the year. As well as seeing many of our Vicki’s Brides, looking gorgeous when saying ‘I Do’ this month - July has certainly been a busy month for weddings.

We attended a styled shoot this month with an incredible team of suppliers and we have to say this could be our favourite shoot yet.

Our beautiful Brady dress by Freda Bennet was the inspiration for the shoot. We attended a wedding fair with the dress at the beginning of the year with a few of the suppliers involved, and the when they saw the dress all the ideas started to flow.

Roxanne from The Little Wedding Warehouse did an amazing job organising the shoot and really made this vision come to life. We can't forget to mention the venue too! The House Meadow! At golden hour...pure bliss.

And of course the very talented photography duo Oleg & Rita who just made everything come together.

Please check out the list of suppliers involved and if you decide to have this theme for your wedding you MUST let us know!

And of course, not forgetting our special announcement, that Hannah is expecting baby number two! As a family, we are so excited to watch it grow and we were all blown away by the lovely comments and kind words from everyone on socials. This news is of course going to be followed by lots of dressing a baby bump content!

We have had such a lovely July and we have so much to look forward to in August, so make sure you stay tuned…
